this is a special piece made for Susan.
“Make it crazy, make it colourful!” That’s a brief that I love but at the same time it makes me anxious because there are endless possibilities. I scrolled through her insta feed (something I do when i’m knitting a piece for them, because I would usually imagine the person wearing it while knitting) and got an idea of how I should do it.
We settled on the colours and time to hit go, I knew I wanted to create a changing cable piece on one side. The other side I wanted it to be slightly more toned down. This will allow Susan to wear whichever side she wants depending on the mood she’s in.
Last minute, I decided to add some pom poms to the sleeve and tada, it is done!
