sarah messaged me on insta one day and wanted a custom cardigan. In her questionnaire, she gave me so many wonderful inspirations to work on. I was particularly drawn to, bleeding watercolour and also feathery lichen.
lichen grows on rocks and trees, they coat the surface in this wonderful mossy way. We settled on really earthy colours. I love eathy colours and working with them, it keeps me grounded.
The stitches in this piece was pretty straight forward because I wanted the colours to sing more. My go to seed stitch always add the perfect texture to the piece.
